爱德华王子岛华人协会会长周勇先生简介
周勇，男，49岁，来自北京，中国执业律师，业务专长领域为国际贸易法。自2021年在PEI投资国际贸易行业，并从事法律研究与写作。周先生是CSPEI爱岛华人协会三名发起人董事之一。
周先生曾就读于对外经济贸易大学国际企业管理专业和国际经济法专业，先后于1996年及1999年获得经济学学士和法学硕士学位。曾供职于中国银行总行，而后开启律师生涯，执业于中国著名的律师事务所。周先生的执业超过20年，所代理案件数量超过200起，服务过的著名客户包括宝马汽车、埃克森美孚、美国谷物协会、北美赛贝纸业、印尼金光集团、新日铁、欧洲葡萄酒制造商等世界著名公司。
周先生曾数次被总部位于伦敦的国际知名律师评级机构《钱伯斯法律》评为“国际贸易法领域的领先律师”。《钱伯斯法律》（2013年）指出：“与周律师有过合作的人士称，周律师团队十分敬业，在工作中配合密切，即便是特别复杂的案件，他们也能带来高质量、令人满意的结果。”“相关业务组的组长周勇律师十分精明和专业，他的工作达到了最高标准。”
从繁华的大都市北京举家来到宁静的圣劳伦斯湾小岛，周先生一直有做公益的理想。在2023年加拿大冬运会期间，周先生带着16岁的儿子一起参加冬运会志愿者，并曾单日驱车800公里去一个高山滑雪场做志愿者。
周先生是法律背景出身，严于律己，对工作精益求精，对法治与公平正义有天然的追求。周先生在长期的律师执业生涯中曾服务过一批世界级大公司，具有国际视野，理解高标准组织的管理理念，并具有行动力和执行力。
Yong ZHOU, Chairman & President

Mr. Yong ZHOU, male, 49 years old, from Beijing, is a practicing lawyer in China, specializing in international trade law. Since 2021, he has been engaged in the international trade industry in PEI, as well as legal research and writing. Mr. Zhou is one of the three founding directors of CSPEI.
Mr. Zhou studied at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), majoring in International Business Management and International Economic Law, and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Master’s Degree in Law in 1996 and 1999 respectively. Mr. Zhou worked at the headquarter of the Bank of China before starting his career in a prestigious law firm in China. Mr. Zhou has been practicing law for more than 20 years and has represented more than 200 cases for world-renowned clients such as BMW, ExxonMobil, the US Grain Council, Sappi North America, Indonesia’s Eternal Tsingshan Group, Nippon Steel, and European wine makers.
Mr. Zhou has been recognized several times as a “Leading Lawyer in International Trade Law” by Chambers Legal, an internationally renowned London-based lawyer rating agency. Chambers Legal (2013) states, “The team is greatly dedicated, and it works with seamless co-ordination. It brings high quality and very satisfactory results in extremely complicated cases.” “Head of the department Zhou Yong is very commercial and specialized – he produces the highest standard of work.”
Having relocated his family from the bustling metropolis of Beijing to the tranquil island of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, Mr. Zhou has always had a pro bono vision. During the 2023 Winter Games in Canada, Mr. Zhou brought his 16-year-old son along to volunteer at the Winter Games and once drove 800 kilometers in a single day to volunteer at an alpine ski resort.
Due to his legal background, Mr. Zhou is disciplined and strives for excellence in his work, with a natural pursuit of the rule of law and fairness and justice. Mr. Zhou has advised a number of large world-class companies in his long career as a lawyer, and has a global perspective, an understanding of the management concepts of high-standard organizations, and the capability to take action and execute.
